Following her graduation from Queen Margaret University with a BA Honours degree in Drama and Performance, Hannah spent a year working with the Scottish Youth Theatre Ensemble and also spent a month in Ghana studying traditional West African drumming, singing and dance.
Hannah draws on her background to help DN Academies students develop their skills, with her experience ranging from Shakespeare, musical and contemporary theatre through to opera, blues and jazz.
Her energy and love for performance are infectious and sure to inspire a new generation!
After completing a diploma in Musical Theatre, Morgan trained at The Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, gaining a BMus Degree in professional music performance, specialising in vocals.
Since graduating she has performed both in a band and as a soloist across the UK, Europe and the USA. Alongside performing she has worked as a singing teacher and has run choirs for many years, working to develop her skills as a teacher and artist.
Morgan is dedicated to delivering exciting, challenging lessons which help young people to develop their voices, gain confidence and realise their true creative potential.
As a student at the Forefront Stage School and Monument Dance Centre, Megan trained in ISTD ballet, tap, modern and jazz, contemporary dance and hip hop.
Megan achieved her SQA Higher Dance and Level 2 SCQF Dance Leadership course, and has continued her studies at the University of Edinburgh, with the desire to help give students the best experience and tuition possible.
Megan is a regular competitor in dance competitions – she’s a welcoming, enthusiastic and supportive teacher who is keen to help her students achieve their goals and derive real joy from performing.
DN Theatre is all about creating opportunities to learn and perform on stage – from our newest students to our most experienced, we work together to create fabulous moments to remember on stage.
SPOTLIGHT is a vital part of that approach – our in-house performance programme gives all DN Theatre students the opportunity to present their classwork and musical development in a real theatre venue each year.
Over the course of the weekly classes, our teachers introduce techniques in all genres followed by musical pieces that will be developed and rehearsed to create a show to be proud of – and one that families and friends are all invited to enjoy.
